The Human Village and its affiliates or parent (“THE HUMAN VILLAGE”, “we” or “us”) welcomes you (the “User(s)”, or “you”) to our Site. We are committed to ensure that your privacy is protected. IN ANY CASE, WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT LEGALLY PERMISSIBLE, THE HUMAN VILLAGE'S AND THE HUMAN VILLAGE'S REPRESENTATIVES' TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL DAMAGES OR LOSSES WHATSOEVER ARISING HEREUNDER OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE AND/OR THE CONTENT SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU, IF ANY, TO THE HUMAN VILLAGE FOR USE OF THE SITE OR $US1.00, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. YOU WILL NOT, AND WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO, SEEK TO RECOVER ANY OTHER DAMAGES, INCLUDING CONSEQUENTIAL, LOST PROFITS, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FROM US AND FROM THE HUMAN VILLAGE’S REPRESENTATIVES.
INASMUCH AS SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS AS SET FORTH HEREIN, THE FULL EXTENT OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY.


 Limitation of Liability

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless THE HUMAN VILLAGE, including THE HUMAN VILLAGE Representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (i) your use, misuse of, inability to use and/or activities in connection with the Site and/or Content; (ii) your violation of any of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third party rights, including without limitation any intellectual property rights or privacy right of such third party, in connection with your use of the Site; and (iv) any damage of any sort, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, you may cause to any third party with relation to the Site. It is hereby clarified that this defense and indemnification obligation will survive these Terms.
Without derogating from the foregoing, we reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter which is subject to indemnification by you, which will not excuse your indemnity obligations hereunder and in which event you will fully cooperate with us in asserting any available defense. You agree not to settle any matter subject to an indemnification by you without first obtaining our prior express written approval.


Indemnification

THE HUMAN VILLAGE may, at its sole discretion, change the Terms from time to time, including any other policies incorporated thereto, so please re-visit this page frequently. In case of any material change, we will make reasonable efforts to post a clear notice on the Site and/or will send you an e-mail (to the extent that you provided us with such e-mail address) regarding such change. Such material changes will take effect seven (7) days after such notice was provided on our Site or sent via e-mail, whichever is the earlier. Otherwise, all other changes to these Terms are effective as of the stated “Last Revised” date and your continued use of the Site on or after the Last Revised date will constitute acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, those changes. Amendments to the Terms

At any time, THE HUMAN VILLAGE may without notice discontinue your use of the Site, at its sole discretion, in addition to any other remedies that may be available to THE HUMAN VILLAGE under any applicable law.
Additionally, THE HUMAN VILLAGE may at any time, at its sole discretion, cease the operation of the Site or any part thereof, temporarily or permanently, delete any information or Content from the Site or correct, modify, amend, enhance, improve and make any other changes thereto or discontinue displaying or providing any information, Content or features therein without giving any prior notice. You agree and acknowledge that THE HUMAN VILLAGE does not assume any responsibility with respect to, or in connection with the termination of the Site's operation and loss of any data. The provisions of these Terms that, by their nature and content, must survive the termination of these Terms in order to achieve the fundamental purposes of these Terms shall so survive. Without limiting the generality of the forgoing, the Intellectual Property, Disclaimers and No Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and General sections will survive the termination of the Terms.


Termination of these Terms and the Termination of the Site's operation

(a) These Terms constitute the entire terms and conditions between you and THE HUMAN VILLAGE relating to the subject matter herein and supersedes any and all prior written or oral agreements or understandings between you and THE HUMAN VILLAGE, (b) any claim relating to the Site or the use thereof will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel without reference to its conflict-of-laws principles and the United Nations Convention Relating to a Uniform Law on the International Sale of Goods may not be applied, (c) any dispute arising out of or related to the Site will be brought in, and you hereby consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in, the competent courts located in the city of Tel-Aviv, Israel. You agree to waive all defenses of lack of personal jurisdiction and forum non-convenience and agree that process may be served in a manner authorized by applicable law or court rule. Notwithstanding the foregoing, THE HUMAN VILLAGE may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction, (d) these Terms do not, and shall not be construed to create any relationship, partnership, joint venture, employer-employee, agency, or franchisor-franchisee relationship between the parties hereto, (e) no waiver by either party of any breach or default hereunder will be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default. Any heading, caption or section title contained herein is inserted only as a matter of convenience, and in no way defines or explains any section or provision hereof, (f) YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF ACTION THAT YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF, OR RELATED TO, THE SITE MUST COMMENCE WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES. OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION IS PERMANENTLY BARRED, (g) if any provision hereof is adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect while most nearly adhering to the intent expressed herein, (h) you may not assign or transfer these Terms (including all rights and obligations hereunder) without our prior written consent and any attempt to do so in violation of the foregoing shall be void. We are a passionate team of humans, who care deeply about mankind. Our team combines members who are experienced in building successful technology companies with members who bring a wealth of hands-on experience in humanitarian and social work. Together we are trying to create a disruption for good.

Yuval is a partner at State of Mind Ventures. He is an experienced entrepreneur, M&A executive and investor, and former CEO of startups including ooVoo, Xacct, and Amdocs Cloud Services. As Head of Corporate Development and Strategy for Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX), he led ten global acquisitions totaling more than two billion dollars of investments. Prior to co-founding State of Mind Ventures, Yuval was a Partner with Sequoia Capital in Israel and an independent angel investor. Yuval is vegan and enjoys long-distance trail running at dawn.

Alon background includes experience in entrepreneurship, management of complex projects worldwide, business partnership development, and more. 
For the past five years, He managed a department that delivered hundreds of high-end events and workshops for senior managers in global companies around the world.
Previously, He was a founder and CEO of a low-cost Arabic language school that operated in four branches and had over 500 graduates.

Amir Shevat is general partner at Darkmode Ventures. Works as the head of value creation at  State of Mind Ventures. Omer has been working as a marketing and community executive across industries for over a decade. Omer led multiple social-cause initiatives such as the Israeli Burning Man (MidBurn) and The White Elephant. In his recent job, he was the General Manager for On Deck in Israel. He is passionate about working with entrepreneurs, connecting people around valuable causes, and crafting inspiring experiences. Omer lives in Tel Aviv, plays the piano and double bass, and loves cooking and shooting drone footage.

Rita is a social entrepreneur and community developer, 
She graduated with honors B. Ed in youth advancement and special education and worked for seven years with youth-at-risk in different social care programs.

 Rita launched the young Russian-speaking community “Fishka” and managed it for seven years. Fishka community platform was a cultural and social house for 2000 young people that developed more than 18 community initiatives for the realization of their social and cultural potential. 
She managed different aspects of the NGO, leading staff of volunteers, fundraising and developing social projects and more.
Rita Brudnik recently served as Operations Manager in the Women Wage Peace movement in Israel.
Prior to that, she acted as Head of Secular Yeshiva Tel Aviv, “Bina” - a Jewish movement for social change.

Rostislav has extensive experience in entrepreneurship, managing investment projects worldwide, and developing business partnerships. Over the past five years, he has successfully led Mainstyle, an online publication project that has collaborated with international premium fashion and cosmetic brands such as Dior, Zegna, and Jimmy Choo, and built suspend communication with international advertising agencies. He achieved an impressive tenfold increase in the company's capitalization by implementing innovative e-commerce promotion tools.
Previously, Rostislav founded and served as CEO of a self-development training center for business owners and top managers of state companies. He is also the founder of two online stores, Mineral Premium, and Eshurin's Coins which are premium products gift stores. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Rostislav is also an accomplished artist, having participated in art exhibitions with his own paintings and graphics. He practices mindfulness and meditation and leads an active social life, participating in charitable activities as well.

Marina Zarankin was repatriated to Israel from Ukraine as a child in the 90s. Marina has a bachelor's degree in sociology and anthropology from the Hebrew University and she is a certified group facilitator.
 Marina worked as a researcher at the Henrietta Sold Institute, a national institute in behavioral sciences, and conducted research on the educational tourism groups called "Tafglit" of young Jews from the post-Soviet space
In the last decade, Marina specializes in building communities and creating community resilience. For example, as part of the "Better Together" project by the Joint Israel organization, she founded and accompanied a neighborhood-based community in an area with a disadvantaged population and helped her members to be active and responsible for their own destinies.

Dina had a career as a television journalist and presenter for over a decade, primarily covering politics and reporting on government and parliamentary activities. Later on, she served as a media and strategy advisor to Benjamin Netanyahu, the then-leader of the opposition, and other major Israeli politicians. In 2009, she led Netanyahu's election campaign in the Russian-speaking sector, overseeing the production and management of events with the participation of numerous media outlets from around the world. 
Dina has also managed various social projects for organizations such as the UN, the Genesis Philanthropy Group, the Yesh Atid political party, Benny Gantz, ministries, and municipalities, including Haifa, Tel-Aviv, Rishon Lezion, and others. Throughout the years, she has established and managed multiple social media accounts and other content platforms, handling digital assets for politicians, public bodies, municipalities, and more.

My name is Tali, and I'm currently a high school student.
 I have a passion for public speaking and debate, and I enjoy hiking. As a member of "LEAD," a youth leadership development organization, I'm actively involved in various community initiatives that aim to make a difference. As a part of the "Tech For Changes" team, I'm primarily involved in the center region of the country, in the medical field. Being a part of the team has been a fulfilling way for me to contribute to my community, and I am confident that together we can make a big impact.
